The Marchetti Company is a wine importer and marketing agency based in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Our mission is to provide well-crafted, sensibly priced wines by building and maintaining long-term partnerships with our producers and distributors.

The original agency was founded in 1968 by Gil Schwartz, and purchased in 1988 by wine aficionado and businessman, Tony Marchetti. The Marchetti Company began importing wine in 2005 from Europe’s finest wine regions with a focus on distinctive quality and excellent value. The core of this wine portfolio is warehoused under temperature controlled conditions at Fond du Lac Cold Storage in Edison, New Jersey to provide clients with immediate access for rapid distribution. This portfolio is imported under the name Scoperta Importing which means "A Great Find" in Italian

As a marketing agency, The Marchetti Company has enjoyed long-established relationships with some of the California’s finest properties, including Pride Mountain Vineyards, Robert Foley Vineyards, Amador Foothill, and Monticello Vineyards. We are proud to represent these wineries throughout the Midwest.

Our dedication to unique wines is also reflected by our role in the increasingly fashionable sake market. To this end, The Marchetti Company is honored to represent the Ozeki Sake Company, Kikkoman Plum Wine and a host of small-production artisanal Japanese sake breweries in 18 states, making us one of the most influential sake brokers in the United States.

Over the last few years we have achieved vigorous growth across all areas of our business. Through hard work backed by extensive experience, our wines are now sold in 37 states through a distinguished network of 90 distributors. Our staff is composed of a fine team of passionate, dedicated wine and food enthusiasts diligently focused on customer satisfaction.
