RHONE VALLEY
Bastide de Beauvert
The grapes for Bastide du Beauvert are grown primarily on the
hillsides and terraces in the village of St. Victor la Coste where the
soil is composed of limestone and river rocks. In comparison to
the more austere wines from the left bank of the Rhone, wines from this
area are known for their softness, body, and aromatic profile.

Louis Changarnier
Louis Changarnier was a vintner for the famous Hospices de Beaune
in Burgundy at the end of the 19th Century until he started his own

Domaine Delsol
Domaine DelSol is ideally situated along the Thau Lagoon in Montagnac within the Coteaux du Languedoc AOC. The lagoon and mediteranean
breezes make the nights cooler than in other areas of the Languedoc. This and the high humidity create perfect conditions for growing picpoul.
Domaine del Sol consistantly produces a fresh, aromatic white wine with boyant, ripe fruit and mouthwatering acidity.

Chateau Gromel Bel Air
Chateau Gromel Bel Air was founded in 1855. The estate and surrounding 27 acres of vineyard are located in Fronsac
nearby the famous communes of Pomerol and St. Emillion. Fronsac’s higher altitude vineyards composed of limestone,
chalk, and clay produce particularly robust Merlot-based red wines. Cabernet Sauvignon only thrives in select areas
on the right bank of the Gironde River and a special parcel of the estate’s vineyards are dedicated to this
varietal which provides added structure and freshness to the blend. Chateau Gromel Bel Air is consistently made with
great care and its affordability exemplifies the underrated potential of the area. It is aromatic, fruity and spicy,
with fine balance and moderate structure.

LOIRE VALLEY
Lionel Gosseaume
Lionel Gosseaume is the son and grandson of winegrowers. He grew up in his family's vineyard, but spent most of his adult life as far away from the vines as possible.
In 2007 the call of the vines proved too strong and he returned home and acquired his own 22 acre vineyard from his father's friend, Jean-Claude. Jean-Claude lived for his
vines and he still works in the vineyard today, teaching Lionel what he has learnt in a lifetime in winemaking.
To make lovely wine, you naturally have to manage the winemaking process, but first you need to know every acre of
your vines so you can grow wonderful grapes. The vineyard is located in the Loire Valley, halfway between the famous
Chateaux of Chambord and Chenonceaux, in the AOC Touraine. It is planted mainly with the aromatic grape, Sauvignon Blanc (75% of the vines) and with the fruity red grape, Gamay (20%).
But it also includes two very rare white varieties: Mesliers Saint François and Menu-Pineau, which had almost disappeared from France.
The estate is partly composed of old vines, with an average age of 25 years. The clay and silt soils are well suited to the
production of light, fruity wines with distinct minerality and finesse. These soils are known locally as "Sables de Sologne". Lionel explains: "Sologne” is a small and historic region of France very well-known for
hunting! And for its Chateau of Chambord! François 1st, one of the most famous King of France (16th century), who started to build
Chambord, wanted also to make the Capital of France in the town of Romorantin. Romorantin is the “Capital” of Sologne. But François 1st
renounced to his project because in this town of Romorantin, someone tried to murder him. This region is close to the region of Touraine.
And my estate is located at the frontier of these two historic regions of France: we call this frontier “Sologne Viticole”
(Vineyards of Sologne). The soils of “Sologne” and “Sologne Viticole”
are very poor (not very fertile): they are mainly composed of sands. It’s the country of the goats and the vines. That’s
why our white wines are nice with goat cheeses (my grand-mother, the mother of my mother, was a goat breeder and she made lovely goat cheese!).
That’s the story of Sologne!"

Carl Ehrhard and his family tend 22 acres of Riesling and Pinot Noir spread throughout four
prime vineyards around the town of Rudesheim in the Rheingau region of Germany. The estate was
founded in 1815 and taken over in 1998 by Carl, his wife Petra and their three daughters.
The Ehrhards strive to make wines endowed with personality that express the unique character of
their vineyards. The four vineyards – Berg Rottland, Berg Roseneck, Bischofsberg, and
Kirchenpfad are situated on the steep banks of the Rhein River and are maintained without the
use of fertilizers or herbicides. In the winery, the Ehrhard’s embrace traditional
methods and preserve fruit purity through minimal intervention, but with use of modern equipment.
These precise, powerful wines are lively and

Villa Calcinaia
Villa Calcinaia is situated in the center of Chianti Classico near the town of Greve-in-Chianti.
This historic estate has been home to the Counts Capponi since 1524, and is maintained by Sebastiano
Capponi and his brother Niccolo. Calcinaia is the heart of the Capponi family and each generation
gives new life to the fields, woods, vineyards and cellars. These wines express the family’s
love for their land; with every vintage they share the hopes, worries, pride and care that come with
making honest wines. Organic farming is the standard at Villa Calcinaia where 75 acres of vineyard are planted with Sangiovese,
Merlot, Canaiolo, Grechetto, Vernaccia, Trebbiano, and Malvasia. Through every vintage,
the wines are crafted with food in mind. They are balanced, elegant, perfumed, and savory yet
refreshing with restrained vigor and intensity that ensures longevity. The Villa Calcinaia philosophy
has always been: “Love for the land, respect for tradition, and the rightful pride in bearing the name of Capponi.”

PIEDMONT
Giacomo Sperone
Pitule, Franco Serra, D'Altieri
The Sperone family has been making affordable, premium wines for four generations.
In 1920, Antonio Sperone opened a small wine shop in Torino where he sold bulk wine directly to consumers.
Unsatisfied with the quality and price of the local wine, Antonio started his own winery in Puglia
where land was inexpensive and produced good wine. He built a bottling facility in Torino and
was soon able to offer his customers quality wines at prices everyone could afford.
Sadly, it was destroyed when the city was bombed in WWII. The winery in Puglia survived the
war and enabled Antonio’s grandson Giacomo to open a new facility near Milan where he
produced vermouth, sparkling wines, spirits and fine wines. With the help of his sons Paolo
and Antonio, the company grew quickly and achieved distribution throughout Italy and expanded
into foreign markets. In 1965, the family purchased 75 acres of prime vineyards in Piedmont
and built a new winery in Monferrato. Even as the prices fetched for wines from this increasingly
fashionable region continue to climb, the Sperone family proudly focuses on value.
The Franco Serra, Pitule and d’Altieri lines provide everyone with the opportunity to
drink thoughtfully crafted, distinctive wines from Italy’s most renowned regions.

CAMPANIA
Ocone - BIODYNAMIC
Ocone is a family owned winery that farms approximately 70 acres in the Taburno DOC of Italy's Campania region.
The estate is located in the town of Ponte on the rocky slopes of Mount Taburno which lends its name to Ocone's unique DOC.
Guiseppe Ocone founded the winery in 1910 when most of the wine from Campania was simply sold in bulk to the north.
In the 1960's, his son Luigi helped Ocone distinguish itself from other producers by focusing on the region's near
forgotten indigenous varietals such as Aglianico, Greco and Falanghina. Dedication to these unique ancient varietals
paired with the adoption of contemporary wine making innovations established Ocone as a world class estate.
Domenico Ocone - the third and current generation - is completely dedicated to bio-dynamic and organic viticulture.
Only natural fertilizer is used in the pesticide free vineyards. No additives of any kind - including sulfur dioxide
- are added to the wines. The Ocone wines are approachable, food friendly, and varietally true. They possess great
depth of flavor without being excessive and are consistently balanced and structured with complexity and length.

COLLI ORIENTALE DEL FRIULI
Villa Rubini
The hilly estate at Praducello was founded in 1500 and purchased by Domenico Rubini in 1814.
Since then, Villa Rubini has been a nexus of viticultural and agricultural advancement as successive
generations of Rubinis have revolutionized the vineyards, cellars, and political sphere of Friuli.
The estate covers 250 acres, 150 of which are planted with vines (25 acres are organic).
The sandy, marly, clay soils, and northeast winds which meet the mild currents from the Adriatic Sea on
the hills are singular, irreproducible factors that make the Rubini’s wines unique.
These conditions allow Pinot Grigio to achieve the distinct expression it is known for in Friuli
(full-bodied, elegant, minerally) and as such it is the most widely planted grape on the estate.
An array of indigenous single varietal wines are crafted: aromatic, sharply etched whites from Friulano
and Ribolla Gialla, and lively, spicy reds from Refosco and Schioppettino. International varieties were
carefully propagated in the late 1800s from clones most conducive to the estate’s terroir.
The intensity, balance, crisp acidity and buoyant fruit of Villa Rubini’s wines allow them
to reveal their truest expression when enjoyed with food.

Founded in 1984, Bodegas Aragonesas has grown to become the largest wine estate in Campo de Borja DO.
The winery is located in the small town of Fuendejalon amongst the foothills of the Sierra Moncayo
Mountains in the northern province of Zaragoza. Garnacha is the signature variety of Bodegas Aragonesas.
It is indigenous to Campo de Borja and has been cultivated there for over 800 years.
The extremely dry, hot climate and stark contrast between day and night time temperatures are
ideal for making fruity, aromatic wines from this late ripening variety. Many of the winery's vineyards
were planted over a century ago and produce very low yields of ripe, concentrated fruit.
In recent years, international varieties have been planted to add complexity to the estate's blends.
At all levels, Bodegas Aragonesas’ wines are approachable, balanced, smooth and fruity.
At the same time, the wines are always crafted with a sense of place and respect for the qualities that make Garnacha unique.

PRIORAT D.O.Ca.
La Vinicola del Priorat
L'Agnet
La Vinicola del Priorat is a cooperative winery situated in the heart of the Priorat DOC founded in 1991. Gratallops is the best known wine-making village in region and it along with, el Lloar, la Vilella and la Viella Baixa are home to the 125 vineyards owners who form the co-op. These farmers cultivate a total of 500 acres spread across 310 distinctive plots spread amongst the steep slopes surrounding these villages. Each lends a special quality to La Vinicola’s various wines.
Because the majority of vines are around 60 years of age, yields are very low. While this is a key contributing factor for concentration and power, it is the famously unusual “llicorella” soils that give these wines their distinctive character and finesse. This dark brown, rather shiny slate quartzite imparts an overt minerality that adds freshness and lift to the wine’s powerful structure. These soils are also uniquely cool and damp for being situated in an exceedingly dry region that receives less than 16 inches of annual rainfall. Anywhere else, irrigation would be necessary for the survival of the vines. But in Priorat, a series of faults in the llicorella allow the vines to tunnel through and find cool, fresh water to sustain them.

Bodegas Covila was founded in 1989 by sixty vineyard owners from Lapuebla de Labarca in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.
This small town is situated on the north bank of the Ebro River south of the Sierra Cantabria Mountains.
Because the vineyard owners have been making their own wines for generations, very old, small vineyards
with low vine density that would have been replanted in other areas of Rioja are still being cultivated.
The vines are favored with 2,000 hours of sun, and less than 400mm
of rain annually. This allows Bodegas Covila to make fresh, fruity and structured wines with deep color,
balanced acidity and sweet tannins that age gracefully.

Bodegas San Roque
Cota 585
Located in Elvillar de Alava at an altitude of 585 meters (1,919 ft), the San Roque winery was founded more than 60 years ago with a mission to preserve the local cultural legacy of winemaking. For generations this small town has passed a viticultural philosophy from father to son that prizes stewardship of the land above all else. This wisdom and the embrace of modern techniques embody the spirit of Cota 585.
With more than 875 acres of old vineyards protected by the Cantabrian mountain range in the center of Rioja Alavesa, Cota 585 is produced. At this altitude of 585 meters the vines are subjected to consistent winds that prevent rot and disease, and allow them to slowly build healthy, flavorful fruit. The chalky soil found in these hills are unique to this area and help to produce distinctive Tempranillo grapes for the production of an original wine.

Castillo Rocio, Finca Milena
Bodegas Torroja is located in the village of El Azagador, in the Valencian district of Utiel -Requena. It is a family-run business, the product of a deep-rooted winemaking tradition that has been passed down through generations.
The old family winery founded in 1910 has been thoroughly restored and modernized though certain traditional features have been preserved such as the old underground wine vats that have been converted into cellars where our wines can rest as they age.
The winery has built a solid reputation for producing young, fresh wines with focused primary fruit flavors and mature “Crianza” wines with structure, elegance and finesse that are aged in American and French Oak barrels.
The grape varieties used in our wines are Tempranillo, Bobal, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and especially Tardana. Sadly this local variety is suffering from massive regression in the area. Bodegas Torroja has devoted substantial effort since 1999 to reviving this somewhat peculiar indigenous white variety and remains the only winery in the world to bottle it.
