We are regional sales agents for Ozeki Sake, Kikkoman Plum Wine, and many small artisanal "Jizake" breweries.
OZEKI SAKE
Ozeki Sake is one of Japan’s oldest and largest sake breweries. It is best known in the United States
as the warm house sake offered by Japanese restaurants that care to serve their customers premium quality sake.
Only highly polished rice is used to brew Ozeki sakes and this gives them their smooth, rich flavor.
In 1979, Ozeki became the first Japanese brewer to produce fresh, local sake in the United States by opening
a brewery in Hollister, California. This location was carefully selected because the high quality local rice
and water from the Sierra Nevada Mountains allow Ozeki to produce good sake without compromise. Ozeki’s
original Japanese brewery was founded in Nada in 1711. Even at that time, Nada was known as the best place to
brew sake because of its unique water source called Miyamizu. This “Shrine Water” is filtered
through the rock strata of the Rocco Mountains giving it the high mineral content ideal for brewing good sake.

JIZAKE
Jizake is a Japanese term that translates literally into “country sake” and refers to the locally
produced sake of a town or region. In practice, Jizake refers to low-production sakes produced by small
(often family) breweries. We are proud to offer an array of Jizake from several small Japanese breweries
that are still family owned and run.

KIKKOMAN PLUM WINE
Kikkoman Plum Wine is the only domestically produced plum wine made with real plums. A special plum essence
is imported from Japan to give Kikkoman its true plum flavor. This elegant, fruity wine has a ripe cherry
aroma and sweet plum flavor balanced by a light tartness - excellent as an after dinner treat or on the
rocks with a twist.
